During the month of August, one of the destinations for lovers of the performing arts is Edinburgh and the world famous, internationally acclaimed Fringe Festival. The Fringe is an alternative arts festival to the classic arts. Participants are small drama companies, individual dancers & dance groups, comedians, musicians and bands, street artists such as jugglers, writers, poets and, a predominance of pipers in kilts.
This Can’t Be Love is set in this energetic and iconic city during this wild summer festival, with the streets packed with tourists and artists of all forms and genres. Two wayward Americans find one another on a construction site, amid chain-linked fences, concrete continuous pours, and speeding roadsters.
Mike and Jakki have little in common except loneliness, hurt, and a love of swing bands.
